148.Saturday: Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me?
In the Acts of the Apostles 13:47, it is written:
“I have made you a light to the Gentiles, that you may be an instrument of salvation to the ends of the earth.”
In the Gospel of Matthew 5:14–16, Jesus says,
“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Baptism, as the act of faith, is the first spark of light. It opens the door to grace, enabling acts of virtue and leading us into a deeper knowledge of grace. By living a fundamental Catholic life, we begin to recognize the actions of grace. As we grow, we become more ordered and receptive, allowing grace to take deeper root within us.
The flame within begins to grow and illuminate our actions. The more it illuminates, the more we come to understand the nature of this light. This knowledge leads to self-control. Knowledge of grace—and of the lies and deceptions that suppress it—is necessary to grow in grace. ChristusWay21 acts like a candle, a constant awareness program that removes darkness.
The Second Epistle of Peter 1:5–8 shows this growth clearly:
faith leads to virtue, virtue to knowledge, knowledge to self-control, self-control to endurance, endurance to devotion, devotion to mutual affection, and finally to love.
In the Gospel of John 14:9, Jesus said to Philip,
“Have I been with you for so long a time and you still do not know me?”
And in 14:14,
“If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it.”
ChristusWay21 is an awareness program that helps a person recognize the living presence of Jesus within the heart.
In modern life, this awareness is not optional—it is necessary.
Without it, the original fire received at Baptism does not disappear, but it becomes buried—covered under the constant noise of social media, endless distractions, and the pressures of daily living. The flame remains, yet it is no longer seen, no longer felt, no longer followed.
And slowly, a deeper problem emerges—not absence of God, but unawareness of Him.
Then the soul is left facing a painful and piercing truth:
“Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me?” (John 14:9)
ChristusWay21 exists to remove the ashes, to awaken perception, and to help you recognize what has always been present—Christ within.
The Rosary helps to bind and attune the heart to this voice. ChristusWay21 keeps this awareness alive and active and allowing what is within to be manifested.
Together, they make the voice within visible—the light received in Baptism, now growing, illuminating, and leading toward union with Christ.
