85.Saturday : Sabbath


The Rosary is very effective at maintaining the Sabbath and attaining its promises.

According to Isaiah chapter 58 verse 13, Maintaining the Sabbath involves refraining from selfish pursuits, business, and idle talk on God's holy day, treating it instead as a "delight" and "honorable". Proper observance requires stopping one's own ways to focus on worship and God. The promises for this obedience include finding joy in the Lord, riding on the "high hills" of the earth, receiving divine guidance, and experiencing the heritage of Jacob.

The Sabbath requires ceasing personal, selfish, and commercial pursuits to focus on God. The world has created a notion and sinful habit that, weekend is to engage with shopping and entertainment, or spend lazy to reset. In fact The Rosary is the real reset button," removing the focus from work and daily stress, and placing it on  properly honoring Lord and proper rest in Lord. This is the true blessings of finding joy in the Lord.

The Rosary aids in this by acting as a meditative, non-commercial, and Christ-centered prayer that turns the heart away from "one's own ways" to focus on the life of Jesus and Mary. 

Luke chapter 5 verse 31, Jesus said “Those who are healthy do not need a physician, but the sick do. I have not come to call the righteous to repentance but sinners.”

Through purgation, the  Chosen  is free from the Salary of Fear of Death  The Rosary is a powerful habit loop that connects the spiritual and physical realms. It enables the spiritual realm to awaken the soul and humble the heart, causing a flow of grace that maintains a state of grace.
