72.Sunday -5th Week. True fasting : The higher you climb, the brighter your light shines before others.

 Christusway Daily Missal Reflection.

A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.

The Rosary: A Tool to Access Grace and Foster Good Deeds that Shine Before Others for God's Glory.

Isaiah chapter 58 verse 7, True Fasting, Is it not sharing your bread with the hungry, bringing the afflicted and the homeless into your house.

True fasting means acting as a channel of grace for ourselves and others. Through baptism, we received the theological virtue of charity. We can start practicing this charity by praying for the poor souls in purgatory. A poor person may get help from others because they can be seen, but the poor souls in purgatory are in great need of the prayers and small sacrifices of the living. Padre Pio said, 'Even a single "Hail Mary" makes a big difference for them. It is like a drop of cool water falling onto burning coals.' We can do this at any time, without any cost, and without any excuse; it is just a matter of realization. A key sign of a Catholic with empathy is praying for the Holy Souls in purgatory, particularly through the Sorrowful Mysteries.

1 Corinthians chapter 2 verse 2, For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Matthew chapter 5 verse 14, Your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.

The Eucharist is the provision, and the Rosary is the rope to climb the holy mountain. The higher you climb, the brighter your light shines before others. Climbing is a spiritual journey toward His presence.

Psalm 24 ,Who will climb the mountain of the Lord? Who will stand in his holy place?

For grace to flow, one needs an awakened soul, a meek heart, a focused mind, and sinless habits. This is, in fact, the result of climbing the holy mountain—a climb from 'ego' to a meek heart and soul using the Rosary as holy bait. Knowingly or not, this process will occur within anyone who prays at least three rosaries daily for years.

Padre Pio said the Rosary is a "weapon"—a direct, powerful, and indispensable channel of grace. Grace flows from an awakened soul to a meek heart aligned with a  focused brain and  sinless habits express
in actions. Even cooking a food with right attitude is a way to express grace. Because a food cooked gracefully generates joy around.

Praying the Rosary is a great work, with a focused mind tapping into inexhaustible grace . This grace flows into graceful actions in our surroundings. To access this grace, the Rosary awakens the soul, makes the heart meek, and aligns the mind to produce empathy  towards all actions.

The Rosary is a tool for forging a path up the Holy Mountain. As a daily practice, it requires consistency, creating a trail of memory around Christ. This, in turn, is essential for ascending to higher spiritual states while staying grounded in daily life. It is like flying a kite: the thread is the memory, shaped by the Rosary.

The Rosary is the Bible on a string and a contemplative catechism. A spiritual weapon against falsehood and evil. A rope to help us climb daily. A tool to cultivate holy habits. A tool to create a memory path of Christ.

If we are not able to create a consistent daily memory trail, we cannot climb the Holy Mountain. Climbing can bring many assumptions and ideologies. Only Christ's memory trail within a Catholic theological framework is true. There is no need to formally learn theology. The Rosary ensures true ascension within a Catholic theological framework. All our life memories are a mix of illusions, truths, demonic influences, and our own self-interests. The Rosary helps to remove all our delusional memories, connect our daily experiences with Christ's life, and build new memory trails, because Christ stood where I stand.

----------

Life Memories as Illusions: Memories focused solely on self-interest, material pursuits, or "sin" are, in a spiritual sense, ephemeral and "dilutional," offering no lasting value or truth.

The Christ Path/Memory Trail: The true, lasting "memory trail" is aligning one’s thoughts, actions, and daily experiences with the life and teachings of Jesus Christ (The Christ Principle).

St. Carlo Acutis noted, the Rosary is a "scale to climb Heaven," providing a structured, daily, and meditative path.
