Wednesday- 1st week - Ordinary Time After Christmas : Prophetic office : capacity to preach

Through the prophetic mission a Catholic is empowered to enter the presence of God to pray and know His will.

Through Baptism, all the faithful are incorporated into Christ and share in his three-fold mission: priestly, prophetic, and kingly.

Prophetic mission enables communication with God.
Prophets are called to a close, personal relationship with God, listening for His voice and discerning His will. They receive and transmit God's message, which often involves proclaiming truth, justice, and mercy. Prophets pray for the people, intercede for them, and work for justice and human dignity, addressing societal ills.

Prayer is the communication with God. As part of the prophetic office of your Catholic baptism, you are called to enter the presence of God to pray and know His will. For this  meek imagination of heart has to connect reflections of soul, upright reason to discern, and a focused brain has to comprehend it

Rosary is the effective tool to align this multi-faceted process that integrates different human faculties of emotion, intuition, morality, and intellect.

The Soul, Heart, Imagination and Reflection:  Prayer is not  merely a rational or intellectual exercise but a holistic engagement of one's inner being, emotions, and creative capacity.

Meek imagination of heart has to connect reflections of soul:  A humble and open emotional capacity is necessary to perceive and relate to one's deeper spiritual or true self. Any drive of  emotion can affect imagination to connect reflections of the soul.

Upright reason to discern: This highlights the role of sound, moral logic and critical thinking in evaluating these perceptions and distinguishing truth from falsehood.

A focused brain has to comprehend it:  insights gained through the spiritual and emotional process of prayer must ultimately be processed, understood, and integrated by the conscious, focused mind.

1 Samuel 3:10the LORD came and stood there, calling out as before: Samuel, Samuel! Samuel answered, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

1 Samuel 3:19 Samuel grew up, and the LORD was with him, not permitting any word of his to go unfulfilled

Prophetic office of the catholic baptism, incorporates one to Jesus prophetic mission. A prophets life is a death to the  world. A spiritual death to sin, false gods, and worldly values that oppose God's will, as seen in Jesus's own life and temptations.

A prophet continually listens to the Lord and withdraws from worldly distractions. He serves as a mediator between God and His people. He maintains a sense of holiness and respect for God's presence. His imagination, thoughts, behaviors, diet, daily life, and interactions with the outside world should align with the presence of God. He, a spiritually awakened Soul, keeps his lamp of vigilance lit and his oil full with continuous praising, anticipating the Bridegroom's call. He enhances his holiness through acts of praise.

The constant recitation of the Rosary is an effective form of prayer. Through phrases like 'Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus,' we praise Jesus through Mary, awakening the soul to receive reflections and turning hearts meek for righteousness. It helps the mind gain focus, allowing reason to become upright and discern truth from falsehood.

Mark 1: 37 disciple said, “Everyone is looking for you.” 38 He told them, “Let us go on to the nearby villages that I may preach there also. For this purpose have I come.”.

The world seeks a star to illuminate Truth. When a person begins to listen to God, they become capable of preaching, as they hear what to say or do next from God. A prophetic mission empowers a Catholic to listen to God.
