65.Sunday - 4th Sunday : Poor in spirit: Memory : the remnant of Israel: Christ consciousness

Blessed are the poor in spirit; the kingdom of heaven is theirs!
Zephaniah 3:8,Therefore, wait for me—oracle of the LORD— until the day when I arise as accuser;11 On that day You will not be ashamed of all your deeds, when you rebelled against me; And you shall no longer exalt yourself on my holy mountain.

12 But I will leave as a remnant in your midst a people humble and lowly, Who shall take refuge in the name of the LORD— 13 the remnant of Israel. They shall do no wrong and speak no lies; Nor shall there be found in their mouths a deceitful tongue; They shall pasture and lie down with none to disturb them.

1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 27, God chose the foolish, the weak ,the lowly and the despised. Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord.

Christ said "Do this in memory of me."

Luke chapter 2 verse 19, Mary "treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart".

Philippians chapter 2verse 7, Jesus  emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, coming in human likeness; and found human in appearance.

As the knowledge of Christ grows, so does the love for Him, leading to a truly Christ-centered life. God constantly creates new experiences to connect our lives with Jesus.

A Christ-centered life connects our life realities with Christ, while contemplative habits preserve these memories in the heart.

To connect our daily experiences with Christ, we need a medium of grace like the Rosary. The Rosary helps us to treasure up and ponder these experiences as memories in the heart. As this Christ-memory treasure grows in the heart, a person grows closer to the emptiness of Christ. This helps align with the emptiness of their own soul, representing growth in spiritual consciousness.

Being poor in spirit results from a richness in spiritual consciousness. It is achieved by having a meek heart that treasures memories of Christ and by possessing the true self—the empty soul within. This state can be described as Christ consciousness. Those who achieve it rely on sanctifying grace for purgation and live in the presence of God; the constant flow of this grace provides a profound sense of contentment.

"Proud in spirit" is physical consciousness or ego-consciousness—a "richness" where an individual defines their identity through an accumulation of memories, personal accomplishments, and material possessions. This mental state is "rich" in its own estimation, often leading to a self-centered attitude that relies on self-sufficiency rather than divine grace. Such individuals are worried about showing the self for appreciation. Their anxiety about tomorrow drains their energy, leaving them feeling empty. They often focus on self-effort for daily needs rather than relying on grace, driven by their own works to meet those needs.

Catholic baptism, the Rosary, and a sacramental life are the fundamental avenues for achieving Christ consciousness. It is a direct experience of oneness, love, and divine presence within, rather than a product of human intellect or mind.

Sermon at the mount is embodiment of Christ consciousness. A revolutionary manifesto of the Kingdom of Heaven. outlines a community focused on love, reconciliation, and integrity, where followers are called to be "salt and light".

Spiritual consciousness is a combination of Soul and Heart, not part of the physical body. It relies on inner senses with minimal reliance on brain activity. In contrast, physical consciousness exists between the brain and senses within the body; it is temporary, tied to matter, and represents ego-consciousness.

Growth in spiritual consciousness through catholic life's real purpose gradually erode  physical consciousness and turn in Christ consciousness leads to union with Christ.

Christ consciousness starts with catholic baptism, act of sanctifying grace enables a person to align with theological virtues. the sacramental life and the Rosary function as a "spiritual gym," strengthening the soul's senses to perceive realities of Grace in Spiritual consciousness and comprehend corresponding blessing in ordinary life events.

Zephaniah 2: 15A day of wrath is that day, a day of distress and anguish, a day of ruin and desolation, A day of darkness and gloom, a day of thick black clouds,

1 Corinthians 1 27 Rather, God chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise, and God chose the weak of the world to shame the strong, 28and God chose the lowly and despised of the world, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who are something, 29 so that no human being might boast before God. 30 It is due to him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, as well as righteousness, sanctification, and redemption,31so that, as it is written, “Whoever boasts, should boast in the Lord.”
