64.Saturday : Yes Lord-a man after God's heart. The altar of rest. Holy habits-connection to Lord

'Yes Lord' is a seed. The 'Violence' is the pruning."

Create a clean heart in me, O God.

2 Samuel 12: 7 Thus says the LORD God of Israel: I anointed you king over Israel.

10 The sword shall never depart from your house, because you have despised me.

11 Thus says the LORD: I will bring evil upon you out of your own house.

12 You have acted in secret, but I will do this in the presence of all Israel, in the presence of the sun itself.”

Mark 4 :  39 Jesus rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was great calm.

Holy habits are essential for maintaining an active, intimate, and ongoing connection with the Lord, serving as spiritual anchors during life's inevitable storms. As storms of worry hit, we need habits like the Rosary to call upon Him.

The LORD spoke to David after  the incident of Bathsheba "I anointed you king over Israel, but you have despised me."

Mark chapter 4 verses 39, Jesus rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Quiet! Be still!” The wind ceased and there was great calm.

When God seems to be sleeping at the stern, it signifies a lost connection with the Lord. Without holy habits, we feel that distance in the midst of temptation or in the aftermath of our choices. When the waves of guilt become overwhelming, it may feel as though God is silent or 'sleeping'.
Distress signifies a lack of holy habits and a broken connection with the Lord.

Cultivating holy habits is essential to anchor the soul, provide strength to survive life's storms, and initiate a lasting spiritual journey.

When God seems to be sleeping at the stern, it signifies a lost connection with the Lord. In the midst of temptations or the aftermath of our choices, we feel that distance. When the waves of guilt become overwhelming, it may seem as though God is silent or "sleeping."

When seeds vice exists within the heart, temptations surely arrive. Should you fall, the storms of life begin to rage. God is sleeping at the stern, the altar of rest in your heart. Wake Him up; He can rebuke the storm and bring peace.

Temptations, irritations, anxiety, anger, gossip, or hate are signs that seeds of vice are hiding. Tranquility is a sign that seeds of virtue are growing.

"Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus" prophetically proclaims Jesus’s authority to command everything and bring peace. Repeating this is a humble way to implement this authority to bring peace to chaotic, stormy, or turbulent situations.

The Rosary is a holy habit to align with God’s will and a symbol of the 'Yes Lord' that leads to sainthood.

Recognize the call, say 'Yes, Lord' to every opportunity, and you are a saint.

It is not easy; only the violent are taking it by force. God’s favor isn't just a 'gift'; it’s often a weight that requires a strong foundation. This act is not a passive reception of a gift, but an active trust in God's faithfulness and a commitment to aligning your heart with divine purpose.

You need to be a man after God's heart, knowing how to please God, find favor, and receive the promise. The waiting period for a promise to say 'yes' is the preparation period for forging the character required to sustain the promise. Once you understand the weight of the promise, then you say 'Yes'. This leads to an intense purification process, covering the full spectrum of human experience—from joy to sorrow, and strength to vulnerability—defining a life of suffering to triumph. This will make a heart meek and humble."

For one has to experience  full spectrum of human experience—from joy to sorrow, and strength to vulnerability—defining a life of suffering to triumph. He has to go through the purgation process. Result of an "yes' to Lord.

Waging War on the Flesh: You must "do violence" to your own sinful habits and perverse inclinations. Entering the Kingdom requires a radical breach with the power of sin, which often feels like a violent recasting of your entire life.

Active vs. Passive Faith: Spiritual maturity is not a passive reception; it is a forceful advancement. The "violent" are those with a fervent zeal who refuse to let lukewarmness or worldly distractions stop them from seizing God's promises.

The Weight of Favor: God's favor is a 'weight.' Sustaining it requires the spiritual fortitude to find meaning within pain, temptation, and adversity, enabling us to endure with courage."

Overcoming Opposition: The Kingdom of Heaven faces hostility. To stay true to your "Yes," you must aggressively contend against the spiritual forces and societal pressures that try to stifle your growth.

St. Teresa of Avila described "The Rosary as a school of prayer that leads to union with the divine will."
