Thursday - 2nd Week of Advent.

Matthew 11:11 “Amen, I say to you, among those born of women there has been none greater than John the Baptist; yet the least in the Kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

The least in the Kingdom of heaven is a Christian transformed to "One with Christ". To qualify for transformation, a baptized Active Catholic has to finish Active Purgation Stage.

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of food and drink, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the holy Spirit

Followers of Jesus do the "acts of the kingdom of heaven" as a demonstration of being "one with Christ," meaning their lives reflect God's rule through actions like righteousness, loving others, peace, and following His will (Matthew 7:21, Romans 14:17). This spiritual union isn't just about belief but about living out Christ's teachings, with the kingdom manifesting internally as God's presence (the Spirit) and externally as transformed lives, showing God's reign on Earth.

To enter the Kingdom of Heaven, or to live the Christian life, one must be like a branch of the vine tree by remaining connected to Jesus (the true vine), drawing spiritual life from Him, and bearing fruit (good works, love, compassion) as a result of that vital connection, because apart from Him, believers can do nothing. This metaphor from John 15:1-8 signifies a living, inseparable relationship where God the Father prunes branches to increase their fruitfulness, removing what hinders growth.
